First things first: It's definitely too cheap and should probably take longer to train.
It's hard to say whether or not it's a good idea. It does a good amount of damage at level 1, but I'm thinking if it goes for defences maybe it should go for defences. I really don't know though. I don't know how to make sure a troop doesn't make the game too unbalanced, but I don't think the initial idea is too bad.
