The fact that you rely on heroes in alot of your videos means you aren't looning correctly. I couldve gotten all the de you got in the videos with giants, barbs, and archers and my heroes, an army that is cheaper and faster to train.
For example, on your video 25, you wasted a whole 17 balloons taking out clan castle troops and 3 defenses. Thats more balloons than I used in my entire farming army when i used balloonion!!!!! While you are getting the de, you arent getting it efficiently. You should just rush the base with rage spells intead of using over half your balloons on the opponent clan castle.

thx for the feedback. my troops take more or less 1 hour to cook (and heroes become active after around 40 min), and i'm attacking about once in 1-2 hours (because i don't have time attacking more frequently), so i made this guide for people who are not playing the game non stop. if you want effective barch attack, you will need spells as well (means the same waiting time, as with balloons), otherwise you won't be able to get the DE on many bases and will have to next a lot (waste of time).
yeah, your suggestion is a bit cheaper, but i find balloons much more fun, and with less chances to fail, so eventually the differences are very small..but hey, each one goes with what he feels best with
about the heroes: i have them in every attack, so why not using them?

Agree! Noone uses 28 loons and all spells for daily farming ever. Besides, heroes should not involve in attack simply because when you're farming dark elixir, your heroes should be upgrading non-stop.
This is anything but not the right usage of loons for farming dark elixir!

To everyone telling the OP that loonian is not the best DE farming troop and his royals should be stronger if his strat works need to relax.

As he has mentioned, he only plays sparingly and he uses his royals in wars so he doesn't have time to upgrade them.

I believe his strategy works fine for him based on how he plays and he has fun which is the important thing

yep, upgrading the queen to level 10 now (makes me feel kinda useless in the war).
i think the most important thing is not waiting for any DE upgrade needed, and most of the time i don't need to wait.
i guess it might not be suitable for everyone (for example guys who attack every 20 min).
