I have my th out with a whit flag, but I have it there as a symbol that it doesn't have tesla's or any other tomfoolery next to it. If someone attacks my th, I will revenge them at the soonest possible opportunity, flag or no flag. It's 50% of why I have my th out.

It's a trend that I'm guessing is becoming more and more popular I guess. I first discovered it two months ago at around Crystal II-I where I saw a white flag, thought it was a great idea and placed it next to my TH too. As others have said, its a symbol of truce but just as easily can be used by trolls.

Definitely easy to troll. It would be cool if the majority of clashers used it as an anti-revenge, mutual understanding.

I've put flags and torches around my th so attackers can see that my th is not surrounded by teslas/traps.

I never see flags when I am attacking and proly wouldn't care at all really !!!


It's hard to come across good bases at times if I do and if there is loot no flag is gonna stop me and I won't really mind getting revenged

But thanks OP, it never occured to me that there could be an actual purpose behind white flags in CoC.

I don't think there is any real purpose to the flags, but its a cool subject to make fellow clashers aware of for discussion. We can eventually make it mean something if more people hear about it.

My white flag is next to the buildings I will surrender without a fight.
That's not necessarily the TH, lately I had the upgrading x-bow there plus a dex drill that I didn't collect - I wanted the free trophies.
The flag was to symbolise that there were no traps there, two archers would give an attacker an x-bow for the achievement and a little dex for the trouble.

No truce --- or agreement as far as I am aware ---- I'ts just another cheap decoration to show their are no traps/bombs/testlas by my TH, so an easy snipe is available.....

Loot does trump all! It seems like people use the white flag as you described. I find that crazy to give hints to where traps ARE NOT at.

That's cool. I just won't revenge raiders who only TH snipe me. Not a big fan of TH sniping either. I don't want more trophies to push me into Crystal League .....Unless I'm raiding for DE
