Best ways to handle Infernos! Both multi and singles!

I hear that dragons fair well against multi infernos but its not something i want to risk off of word of mouth and not for loot either. Anyone with video links? I am TH8 soon to have lvl 3 drags and am getting ready to take on some infernos in war when needed. Some advice please? Also what would be a good combo with hogs? Just throwing that one in there

No vids here but while infernoes hardly dent a single dragon, the collective damage does around the same damage as AD.

I prefer using balloons on IT that is set in single while I use Gowipe when it is set in multi.

A good combination for hogs are balloons and wiz. Check out hulk's HoLoWiWi guide for more info.

TH8 trying to take on inferno? if you can pass the 4 lv7/8 ADs, 4 seekers, 4 Lv7/8 tesla. Then i think Multi inferno will not be a big issue.

Not sure about what a TH8 should do about infernos, as honestly they should never even attempt that in a war. But my best approach recently has actually been mass barb.

Granted I'm a TH10 with max barbs, but I've been consistently farming in M1 & M2 with a mostly barb army and get more 2* wins than 1* wins.

Clearly single ITs are no match for tier 1 troops, but I no longer even worry about multi infernos with mass barb. Infernos can only hit 5 at a time, and when there are 100+ raging into the base they aren't even a threat.

The problem is you need to have great spell placement skills and know how to avoid giant bombs. However, much to my amazement after a week of practice with this new comp I've 2*d numerous max bases (lvl 11 walls and all).

I know you are TH8, but for any TH10s reading, here is the troop comp that is amazing for storage farming with spells while barching collectors as the spells build:

    4 giants
    4 wizards
    4 wallbreakers
    30 archers
    166 barbs
    2 heals
    2 rage
    1 jump

I never use my CC offensively except in wars, but here is the general strategy:

Clear outside buildings with archers near a wizard tower to create a path. Lure cc, bunch em up, drop 4 barbs and 2 wizards to kill them.

Once the path is clear, drop giants to go after wizard tower and break the wall. Back up the giants with remaining archers and a few barbs to clear giant bombs in the compartment.

Multi finger drop about 40 barbs, drop both heros and all wizards so they enter the base. Drop your first heal where everything is going and mass drop ALL remaining barbs.

Once everything is inside drop the first rage. The difference between a fail and a 2* win is in the next step.

As the compartment is cleared, place a jump where the mass troops are routing them towards the core. Make sure you place it properly so it goes over two layers of walls if needed.

Heal, rage, and use hero abilities once in the core. If done properly, you will literally wipe the common 3 xbow 2 inferno and TH core (and typically some teslas) in under 10 seconds. Use remaining archers to hit outside buildings if needed for the 50%.

For this to work, understand that giant bombs and wizard towers are the things you need to fear. You must heal through the wizard towers or 3 shots kills the pack.

With the super lame no skill 240 archer circle that so many people do now, a lot of bases put all mortars and wizard towers near the outside to have a chance at defending, and this lends itself perfectly to this approach. Spread out splash damage is exactly what you want.

Also, look for a path to the core that cant have a giant bomb. Even if it's one outer compartment that cant possibly have one, with a skilled jump that is all you need.

No need to be stingy with the barbs either. Check the outside to trip any traps as well. With 166 of them, you have more than enough. Just remember 100 of them together is 3000 dps, enough to kill a th or cc in two hits and ANYTHING else in 1... without even needing the rage.

I've found this much more reliable than even GoWiWi that I used to push champ. Just wish I figured it out earlier as it's so much cheaper.

That's how I handle infernos at least.

My TH8 farms DE in M3 with dragons. C1/M3 is full of weak AD, so the infernos aren't a show stopper if the AD and xbows aren't max. Single ITs are tough to beat, so I avoid them, and all bases where the ITs are next to each other.

A couple of witches in your cc can help tie up a single target inferno, if you have any clanmates who can donate them for war.... Pekka's do well enough against inferno's on multi mode ......

    Good luck
