Just curious. Would you prefer all flags to be partially/fully refunded and removed from the game since they have no practical use and cause people to request flags, or simply keep it as it is?

Well on my base the flags help guide where you can put your cc troops...although not extremely useful, it still has its uses.

Oh right. I forgot about that even though I used my flags for that exact same purpose
Currently they are being used to decorate obstacles on the outside of my base
... seems like 2 ideas that counters my initial post of no practical purpose have just been mentioned. I wonder what other purposes flags have now
I don't see anything wrong with them. So why not just keep them.
People have said that increasing flags = lag so removing them should theoretically reduce lag?

Never said you did but since CoC is supported on older phones, it would affect them. Anything that moves theoretically takes more resources
Simple Solution: Get a newer device. Cant afford it? Quit. Quitting = More inactive bases = more loot to buy flags with.
I don't see any reason not to have the flags in the game...
