I think this would be a good anti hopper feature. In general if a player leaves a clan, alla troops in the clan castle are lost. This would prevent players to hopp from clan to clan and request troops and leave.

Players has the right to decide which clan to leave and which clan to stay in. There shouldn't be anything that affects hoppers negatively. Just don't donate to them if you think they are a hopper.

While I can agree a hopper is slightly annoying, in reality what does it really matter? In my clan, I tell people all the time to make sure they fill up on troops if they are going anywhere. No point in joining a new clan and immediately asking for troops.
You have two choices here - 1) Get all worked up and frustrated about it, with no means to satisfy that frustration. Or 2) let it go and have a less stressful life. Donate and if they leave, oh well.
Hoppers to me are far less a problem than people that leave once a war starts but before they use attacks. Now that can be frustrating.

if a person is simply joining a clan in an effort to get max level troops and leave....hoppers should absolutely lose their cc troops when they drop from a clan, there is no valid argument as to why someone should be able to take cc troops with them when they leave
i agree with this idea. hoppers should be discouraged.

Personally I thought this would have been implemented long ago. If you are not a clan you should not able to hold troops in a battle as such. The troops should simply say I belong to this clan I am not goin to fight for a non clan member
No, What about REQ 'N' Leave Clans. The soul purpose of the clan is to donate to "hoppers" and gain xp from donations.
