Go to Crystal League and you'l get a lot of Dark Elixir
You could just barch easy drills and storages in silver 1, I got him in 2 days. That, or go to crystal and farm the plentiful DE from there and the loot bonus.
You can just use Barbs and Archers with a few Minions in Gold 1 - Crystal 3. I do it all the time, 40k+ DE per day.
