Should I upgrade the TOWN HALL t to lvl 5 first or upgrade wall and defense first? my walls is level 3
I heard that for newbies like me should not upgrade town hall?? WHY? is it cheaper to buy defensive items when my town hall is low level?

Give me some tips thanks..Im just on my third day i think.its hard to farm gold and elixir now..

Also can you give me some tips to upgrade all my troops to level 5? I only have level 2 archers and barbarians :0

For level 5 troops, you need TH8. But DO NOT rush to it for the troops. Honestly, you should max out every town hall level, for the sake of perfection.

Lower th's can get more loot off of lower bases. So stay at the th till you get maxed out

Max out at lower townhalls - as others have said the loot gets harder the higher your th level, so upgrade now while the loot is easy.

One other tip - don't bother with getting trophies until you hit th7 - use all goblin raids and lose every attack to stay low down.Lots of easy loot and you can fill your collectors several times a day of you are active. Aim to stay in bronze 2 or lower. At TH7 you need to move up to silver at least.

ALWAYS UPGRADE EVERYTHING BEFORE A TOWN HALL UPGRADE! Honestly, I look for people to attack that have made the mistake of jumping town halls without upgrading completely. It means your defenses are weak, and you therefore become an easy target. The choice is yours, but jumping town hall levels quickly will ultimate bite you in your backside quicker then you think.

You can upgrade to TH5 with no problems but STOP THERE for a while. Get everything up as high as you can before moving further. Turn those walls to gold, get those cannons and archer towers up to date. Get the mortars doing their job and get your collectors up. You'll find yourself becoming pretty good at raiding as your laboratory upgrades start to add a little strength to your troops. Be patient.

TH6 was the level where I felt like it was boring and miserable. I didn't feel anymore powerful than at 5 and I really wanted that extra camp at TH7 so i moved to TH7 pretty quickly. But since I had max'd out all of my TH5 stuff it didn't slow me down at all. My base was defensible and my army was strong.

I wouldnt bother personally - upgrade your troops and push on to TH7 and at least have a respectable army to raid with.

but stay there until you've caught up with upgrades.


If I was to start over again, thats what I'd do.
