I'll be honest, this thread looks wonderful, although I am slightly skeptical about whether or not this would work well. I feel like it would be a bit complex, and repel a portion of the younger audience. (I love complexity, don't worry. I'm not sure if SC would implement it though)

Yeah he has made more of these threads( probably the best I've seen here) but they get grounded by all the bad threads. Maybe they should make a stickie for top 50 ideas.

Haha thanks! I'm honored you think this should be in the top 50 best ideas. I'm still all for this idea, though many players are afraid this would cause too much lag on the servers.
I say like it if you like it and leave the technical stuff up to SC to decide whether it's possible or not.

It is awesome. First, I will appreciate the artwork. It looks professional.

As of the idea, I really like it. I always wanted to customize my troops. Also their names are awesome. The current names aren't so cool.

I wish this is implemented.

that is unnecessary why would you change the color of troops and stuff but not stats that is just dissapointing to those who think something will change with the color

There was a petition to add a clapping emoji in the forums,I really wish that it was here now to put that in my post for this thread.

What a creativity! I loved the artwork,it seemed like SC did it.Really cool names and all that.But I worry that it might be a bit too game changing.No problem,thats fine with me.

But clans allowing only certain races was quite bad.Thats why I voted for the 2nd option in the poll.

I also have a suggestion.If the player chooses Demon race for example,there will be 3 new single player campaigns which are of the 3 remaining races (i.e) Humans,Orcs and Nagas.Just a suggestion.

Ever played warcraft I and/or II? Those games primairly consist of cosmatic changes between factions, yet those games were (and still are) great.
Perhaps a special troop or hero for every race would be nice, but there is no need to balance out every single troop.

Right. Every idea has it's flaws, but they can never be fixed if they aren't heard or seen.
