Yes, it's been that long.

So, i've heard a lot of veteran players say things like "oh my GG is lower because the profile update only came out a year ago". Well, it might be true that most of some players' farming happened before the profile update. However, there have also been tonnes of new contents to farm for since then.

So, let's see how you guys measure up.

428 days. Assuming the most casual player, 2 hours of raiding per day, 4 raids per hour, that gives us 8 raids per day, and a total of 3424 raids since profile update.

Assuming 150k per raid, 3424 x 150,000 = 513,000,000 gold. Add on to the 100,000,000 you already have since profile updates came out, gives you 613,000,000 GG.

Well, that's 8 raids per day average. If you double that you should be getting over 1 billion GG.

So, how good is your gold raiding compared to the casual player?

I'm sorry but not everyone raids 8 times a day. Especially being able to raid 4 times an hour. Armies can take over an hour to finish training, plus a lot of time nexting to find a raid in the first place. So you would have to do a lot of gemming. Not to mention most people don't have 2 hours to dedicate to an app a day, especially doing that perfectly non-stop for 428 days.

Also the profile update came out 397 days ago, not 428.

I believe that 2 hours per day with Barch is like the bare minimum for forumers. Especially with so many self proclaimed pro farmers claiming 1mil GG per hour.

The game came out Aug 2102 and the stats came out Aug 2013. So guys that started since launch like myself had been playing for a year by the time the stats came out so we were reset to the achievement amount of 100m. I remember having all skull walls etc so it was a fair bit already farmed not actually accounted for. I have a max GG of 2B now though.

Anyways, your math shows nothing as it is based off of generalizations and assumptions with no evidence to back it up whatsoever. Your basing it off of the small minority of people who play this game far more than the average person.

It was based on my own educated guess and experience that most, if not all, forumers would consider 8 raids per day with barch to be casual raiding.

I do appreciate your input and opinion though.

90.9mil joined right around when the profile update came out. Not a very active raider myself.
