Discounted Gem Event
Hi Everyone,
I have great idea that will solve many issues and SC can get more money.
The idea is to make Gem Event every 6months 1time discount Gem Event.
So lets start in Halloween or in the new Year 2015 Discount 20-30% that will be great.
We need good events please SC this is good deal why u decline it?

Supercell doesn't need discounts, I guess they're fine with the amounts they're selling to the gemmers (including me). :b
If they have discounts then it's going to discourage regular purchases of gems. Never going to happen.
Don't think so... They could simply give you more gems for the same price over a short timeframe, and maybe this should be limited to one purchase over the timeframe. I don't think regular gemmers would wait for promotion times before they buy gems... This game is all about people buying gems because they are not patient enough to wait for their upgrade to finish, so why would they suddenly be patient because promotions happen ;-)Originally Posted by Warble

I would wait to buy gems if I knew I could get a better deal during a certain period. If I'm going to do it, because I'm not some special one-of-a-kind snowflake, others will as well. The gemmer who will gem anyways would still buy gems anytime, but now they will pay less during the sale. I don't see how this would translate into more revenue for Supercell so it wouldn't be in their best interest to do such a thing. I'm pretty sure the OP posted his idea so he could spend less money, not more.
Disagree. Then you just end up with a million complaints "this is ♥♥! Last week I paid 10 dollars for gems that cost 5 dollars this week! I want my money back or I want the extra gems I would have got for 10 dollars this week!"
It would be super annoying.

Sales are to bolster stagnant or declining revenue, other than holiday sales.
But it the problem with even holiday sales is that it creates a habit of waiting for scheduled sales.
Their it sale numbers are good as far as I can tell, they have no reason to discount gems. Why would they mess with their bottom line, because you want discounted gems? Yea right!
