Thread: CLAN WARS - Can we organise our thoughts?

    How about a way to tag a base so that if you wanted to attack it lets everyone else know. It wouldn't stop them from attacking, just let them know that you intend to.

    Most of these ideas are fantastic, but I couldn't disagree more with the time extension. I don't want to derail the thread, I just want it known not everyone is clamoring for this feature.

    6. As this is not regular attacking and the same principle dont apply, eg upgrading defence and heroes can be used, then tweak some other things - surviving troops return to camps etc
    Your third point thing sounds good in theory, but in practice I don't think it would work. the war bonus system would have to be altered IMO, Otherwise the higher ranked clan kind of gets the short end of the stick due to lower war bonuses.

    That is a very simple and VERY good idea. Ran in to an issue yestarday during a war where a feature like this would have been very helpful.

    How about a CLAN OPT IN feature

    This would then allow us to OPT IN .. This places all the clans into a massive "bucket".

    Then SC run a batch process to determine the most appropriate battle / match up for your clan.

    Hi mate well I am happy with clan wars, my clan wars twice a week. Its functioning, but could be so much more.
    I do agree with opt in/out but only controlled by leaders as the way we deal with it now is an issue but already raised
    The other points are to enhance it more, make it better. I just hope it doesn't end up like the goblin missions, released then forgotten about

    I think tags should be done by leaders/co leaders or maybe elders
    You dont let the infantry decide where to attack, thats what generals are for

    Opt in/out feature should give leaders ultimate control whether member is included in the war or not. Players who are busy/inactive will not login to press the opt out button.

    Thats cool we are the same.. But this last war we were badly matched up and it meant we were effectively out of the running before it even started... Which reminds me of another feature id like... "WAR Abandoned"... If they cant address the match making issue we should be able to forfeit the war and the opponents get some free.. Say 200k gold /elix and some de.

    So the default would be OPT OUT and they have to OPT in for each war.. Simples
