The idea is there will be a tower (maybe 2x2 in space) that will cover up part of your base so that people will not know what is in that area until troops are being dropped near the area to enable vision on those parts. For those who played the Red Alert franchise, it's like the Gap Generator.
To go with the searching process on top of clouds, the tower can be named "Cloud accumulator". When we found a base, usually all the clouds disappear. But if there's a Cloud Accumulator, some of the clouds stick around and obstruct vision of the attacker.
One direct implication is that:
1. No more DE zapper if the tower is placed near to the storage to hide them.
2. Significantly harder to lure CC troop if one cannot tell where the CC is placed.
3. Much more difficult to raid a base as you won't know exactly what you are facing, and require high level of impromptu decision making as one uncovers the base.
Problems implementing include:
1. Size of the cloud - too big of a cloud makes it practically impossible to raid as you don't know how the base look like. It's as if you are doing a blind raid. Too small of a cloud make it useless as people would have guessed what's under the cloud.
2. When should it be introduced? I think this sounds like something for TH11 - it's an entirely new way to defend the base!
What do you all think?
