Since when should getting resources be as simple as dropping 3 spells in a strategy game like this?

Maybe since they introduced DE? Zapping is an important part of the game, it makes it a lot easier for TH7 to get the DE they need do the BK.

Also, as it is usually a lower TH that zaps you, if you don't like it move up in trophies to where they won't find you in matchup. Oh, that's right, you are probably lower in trophies than you need to be so you can farm them. Nothing wrong with that, but expect to be zapped once in a while.

I myself will rarely revenge a TH7 that zaps me, as long as they give me a shield. I broke that rule today, I checked my revenge and he had his TH exposed. Figured I'd give him a shield when 2 teslas popped up. So I hit him up for 100%. 250k gold, 180k elixir, 700 DE & 35 trophies. Trapped Town Halls bother me more than zappers. Lol.

I got zapped by a th10 with 5 spells today. I lolled. Deal with it and quit making these threads.

It doesn't take zapping to get your BK but if you're that bad at DE farming have it your way

It's quite fun and powerful looking at the lightning destroying building dont you think.
I do it sometimes for relax, just too lazy and boring to build all lightning spell time after time

Zapping is a product of trophy LVL....if you don't like being zapped move higher. Gold through crystal 3 will find most zappers....crystal 2-1 gets less....super rare in master 3.....almost never happens master 2 and above.

As a townhall 8 I don't make much dark elixir and these guys come in and steal a ton just zapping. There is no strategy or fairness in that. It's cowardly. Ik this gets preached alot on here but damn SC needs to fix this. One suggestion I thought was cool was the lightning rod. Just 1 that you can Put next to your DE storage. I'm fine with them zapping drills whatever but to be able to do it to the storage that's just too much and too easy.

If you don't mind, I'm gonna tear apart your "argument", cause I'm getting tired of these posts (along with many others I'd imagine)

For the strategy, look at my post a couple posts down. As for the fairness, "All's fair in love and war", CoC is war. If you find it unfair that you couldn't do anything about it, wait until a TH 10 hits your base with mass hogs and heal spells. Then you still have no chance, but now it's suddenly fair, isn't it?

You're in too low of a league and don't have an exposed TH. Don't be surprised.

Okay, and? Personally I don't DE zap cause it's much more efficient to farm the loot bonus in crystal, but if the best argument you can find is "it's cowardly", don't expect to get anywhere.

One suggestion I thought was cool was the lightning rod.

Lightning Rod is ridiculous. Be careful what you wish for, cause it might come true (well it won't, but imagine anyway ). When you try to zap dat mortar, air defense, CC troop, and you find a little rod pop out you'll wonder why you ever wanted such a thing.

Riiiight, it's already extremely inefficient to zap storages, and now you expect people to zap drills?

Moreover, you never mentioned a number or provided any real evidence. Now lets say a TH 10 zapped you with max lightnings. The most you could lose (if the storage was completely destroyed), is 1000 DE. That's about how much a drill makes in a day.

And to end it - There've been SO many posts on this, why do you think SC hasn't done anything about it? Cause it's a non-issue. It's easy to avoid and not that much can be stolen. If you're getting zapped repeatedly in one night, chances are you're in a low league with a hybrid base, both of which can be solved by you.

I am complaining a bit. I think it bothers me more because it's a weak way to play. And I find it unsporting. I won't do it to somebody.

This argument is made so dang often by anti-zappers. Oh dear me he's not using strategy in a strategy game. So here's something straight out of a dictionary

Zapping is a type of action, designed to gain dark elixir. Fits the definition, eh? Strategy is what you do to achieve your goals, simple as that. So please, don't use words you don't know the definition of when trying to make an argument

So you're telling me, if the th7 hadn't trapped his th you wouldn't take the 250k gold, 180k elixir, 700 DE & 35 trophies?

I'll stand by the lightning rod I think it's a great idea. And my th is in the middle I'm pushing trophies to get out of this lower league. Also the last guy that did it was a th 10 with 5 lightning spells lvl 5 I believe. There was no way I could even begin to attack him I couldn't believe a th like his was in gold 2.
