Ability for all members to search and message all other members

Hi there,

I would like to be able to search for other members if I know their usernames, and to message that person as well regardless of clan membership. For example, I am a teacher and one of my students got me started on the game. We ended up in different clans and neither of us want to join the other's clan, but we still want to be able to visit the other's profile occasionally. Strange as it sounds, CoC is a great way for me to build a connection with this otherwise somewhat withdrawn student. I tried looking for this idea and couldn't find it so apologies if it has already been mentioned.
