Do people still use hog riders?

Yes I think so. Have t been attacked by a full army of them but 5 lvl6 hog riders and a normal giant army is pretty destructive since I got 100%ed twice.

They were nerfed many times but there are people who can use them effectively. They are still very powerful but have many weaknesses that make attacking with them risky.

I just wiped out a camp with top level hogs. I get sick of having to bam or barch to squeek out a living on this game as a th10. So Im going back to the hog days and having a bit of fun right now wiping out camps with hogs. obviously going to lose de in the process, but at least I won't be so sick of the game that I give up playing entirely (yet)

They can be used but if you can't get king out of middle they fail and if you misjudge traps they fail and if you have a laggy connection they are impossible.

In a recent clan war, a hog spam clan just lost to our dragon spam clan. Both clans had almost 100% participation and their bases were more advanced compared to ours. Yes, almost all attacks were hogs/drags from either clan. So unfortunate for them.

The self acclaimed pro hoggers can still 3 star most bases though, but not the average players.

Hogs are far from dead, but you'll need to be able to scout out the double giant bomb locations well in advance. Otherwise you'll end up having bacon and salty tears.

I hogged my way to masters less than 2 months ago, (with a camp comp of 24 hogs, 50 arch, 20 barb, 20 gob, and 2 giants for luring and 4 heal spells ) but it is very hard and steadily getting harder. Between unlureable heroes, giant bomb buff, the new skeleton trap, and the popularity of anti hog bases have made it too the point where you have to exploit bad layouts. However, even with all that, level 5 hogs and 4 heal spells can still level nearly and th8 and most th9s without a high level queen (given it's not made specifically to be anti hog)

King is the one hero I don't worry about at all hogging......queen is another story.
