These things saved me a star in CW, the person attacking my base managed to get three drags at my TH, skellies pop out, and they stalled long enough for a couple nearby air defenses to take the drags out.
By themselves, they're pretty useless, but they can be a HUGE asset when it comes to delaying PEKKAS and drags, especially if there's a nearby tesla/AD (respectively)
Whenever people are trying to get free percentage to get 50%, the skeletons triggered will kill the archers trying to get free percent. So, it can save you a star there.
Placed wisely, skeletons will draw attackers troops out of the core to another part of the base, that's happened to me twice, just as I thought I'd got all the DE, skeletons pop up and distracted my troops away from it.
In the centre they will pull attacking troops towards them, so one archer may get to the centre with the others going the wrong way, triggers a trap and all the archers head for it.
Be wary of putting them in the centre,
As air troops they can take down balloons with out taking any hits from the balloons, brilliant
When I'm using Balloonion, they are distracting my minions and slowly damaging my loons....not a huge deal.
When I'm using GoWiPe, they are distracting my Pekkas....which is seriously annoying.
I just had a well executed dragon raid get 1 star instead of 3 as my core drags just starting to hit TH all got pulled out of core and did the ring around base routine instead. I hate well placed skelly traps.
As a defender, my base and skelly traps did the exact same to 2 different dragon attackers attacking from different points, held them to 1 star, lol.
How to counter them so they don't pull pekkas or dragons from core?
