Been playing Clash for a few months now, I have been quite entertained by it. One of the reasons I like it is its vague parallels to some older RTS games like Warcraft (the original games, not WOW!) and Command & Conquer.
One of the most satisfying things in both of these games is when you are attacking an enemy's base or village, just like in Clash, that the enemy's buildings pop or crumble when they are destroyed. But it is quite neat to see when a structure is taking physical damage long before its been reduced to rubble - and is even a teasing one to see when a building has its windows blown out, smoke billowing from the side, but remain standing in defiance when your last unit bites the dust to another threat.
What I ask is certainly an artistic undertaking, I definitely understand right away. But I would be most excited if I could see structures actually damaged (let's say at 50% health) during a battle, not unlike Command & Conquer. Elixir pumps spilling their contents not yet looted, the Town Hall's roof tipping to its side, cracks in an archer tower, etc., you know, stuff like that.
I would even help if I were more skilled in the art department, but I think our art styles would clash too much anyway.
