Get your Archer Queen asap! Spell factory and lab obviously, then Id suggest 1 xbow and 1 tesla. After these four get the rest of your missing defenses.

i had 5 builders but I did queen (instant), lab, spell, 2xbows and de drill. If you do a lot of wars, the xbows will show up in your war base as soon as you start construction so I would suggest the 2nd xbow over the tesla and do the de drill next. Next I would start saving for saving the rest of the 6 mil for level 6 giants.
Queen, 2 xbows, spell fac? I may be wrong with spell fac though.
Get AQ then work on xbows.

I'm near town hall 9 too and I think I'll get the xbow last since I find it weak :/
Spell factory and laboratory first, also AQ since you should have 40k DE saved up.
Build the xbows, they got high hitpoints and the attack range is massive.
After that it's pretty much up to you. What I did was build all the new buildings and upgrade those to the same level as the rest.
In order (CC full of gold as well)
1. Queen
2. Xbow
3. Xbow
4. Lab
5. All new stuff
6. Spell Factory
