Dark Troops Poll

Do you use Dark troops? If you do, how many do you use on average each battle? Just curious

Judging from the results, most ppl dont use them. But think of a lvl 5 giant compared to a lvl 5 Hog Rider. A hog rider has:
Almost as much health
Twice the speed
Can jump over walls
3 times the attack
And only take up 1 extra space

And my favourite thing about them is, u can train them in dark barracks without taking up normal barrack training time.

But until dark troops are maxed out, in my opinion, theyre not worth it.

Well I think it's stupid how you can get a dark elixer storage but not a drill untill level eight town hall, so for me dark elixer is hard to get. I don't use many troops

More stupid would be if it was the other way around, right? You need a storage if you take DE from raids ofc..

Im 62, premature th9. I dont use DE troops much.. most for donations.

Yeah and most th7s would find it hard to save 2 mill for a drill i think, although im not sure- its been a while since i was there

1. It's only 1 million.
2. Elixir is overflowing especially in late th7. No problem to gather even full 4 million elixir.

Oh lol its been a long time since i bought the drill too I stand corrected.

I guess they want to introduce players to DE slowly: first storage for raiding, then drills.

Fot me, i view the DE troops as nothing, noob here, got only ONE level ONE de barrack so...Eh

Wow if this poll is in any way representative of the CoC player base thats pretty damming evidence that dark elix troops suck !

Yeah...until theyre maxed lvl, theyre not worth it. But lvl5 hogs, for example, have almost the same hp as a giant, theyre twice as fast, you can train them in dark barracks so they dont take up normal barrack time, they can jump over walls, and they have 3 times the attack

So dark troops can be great. But unless u upgrade em, theyre not worth it.
