Only been TH8 for a day and already getting farmed by TH9s

Welcome to TH8, you're going to learn to hate seeing level 6 giants and archer queens knocking at your door. On the plus side (well, not really because this causes loot issues) there are a whole bunch of nobs out there who will snipe your town hall for worthless cups even if your storages are full.

Get level 6 mortars and you'll be raided far less. Get level 5 troops and you can raid more effectively. I'm not sure what a goog league is now but gold 2 worked for me. It may seem odd advice but higher trophies is better. You'll get sniped more quickly in high gold and your not such a juicy target as you would be in silver.

Silver 3 to Silver 1 is where, premie th7 and th8 is who and because the loot isn't great here for th9 is why. Stay out of gold for now and setup a funnel farming base. Actually anything past 1250 trophoes is where I started getting unearthed by th9..

Silver 1 gold 3 is the spot for TH8. You'll get raided a lot until you max your wizards. It's like a visual sign, everyone is looking to avoid full purple wiztowers. Once you have them maxed, you'll start getting sniped more.

Similar at th9. I got wrecked the first week i was there, once i got AQ and both xbows, it started to die down. Now that i maxed skulls and have new def buildings at th8 maxed levels, i get sniped 9 times out of 10 in crystal 3.

Is there any way I can prevent this? Is there a range where I can get TH sniped very often? I'm at Gold 3 currently

Zap them, if they are cowardly enough to farm lower town halls, they deserve to get zapped.
