YOu don't need to go offline to get a headstone.
After 10-15min searching for a raid, I saw one headstone appearing in my base.

No it doesn't increase your chances, the opportunity comes along about every 8 hours as many have said, but being online persistently takes away the opportunity at whatever chance you had when it's time to potentially receive one.

It's like winning the lottery. If you never enter to win, you'll never win, but if you enter to win, the opportunity to win now exists whatever the odds.

That is simply not true. You have the POTENTIAL to get an obstacle every eight hours, but if the random location on the base is occupied by another item, you do not get one.

It has nothing to do with being online, as I mentioned above, I got mine between raids, just as I have also gotten other obstacles between raids.

You do not have to be offline. You just can't be viewing your own base.

I've been offline most of the time in the past few days, and I don't have one.

I've gotten on for 20-60mins at a time, then leaving for 1-8 hours at a time, still no luck.

I'm going to check right now.

RESULT FROM FUTURE: Still no, just two tree trunks and a mushroom...

EDIT: Also, others are saying that you don't have to be offline...

Yes it's random at very 8hour if you're offline

When you're online the whole day I can say I did not even get any obstacle spawned in my village :'(

My friend is not an active player and he gets like 2-3 gem box in a week while me as an active player
I only get maybe 0 or 1 gem box in a week :'(

Last month and this month I got only like 3 gem box
