The Game's AI is way overdue for an update & donate spells to clan castle.

I'm not sure if it is just me, but countless times i have had troops literally go around targets I placed them directly in front of. They like to attack the least important ones first too. And I am not referring to those who are specifically designated towards defenses. They're an exception.

I would also Like to see Spells be added to the Clan donation list. Being able to donate a spell to a clan castle that is greater than or equal to say... Clan castle level 4 sounds suitable to me, assuming a spell would take up 20+ troop spots. You get a spell or troops. And the spell will be added to the army of the player to use in battle's.
