It would be a fun addition to the game if you added holiday costumes. Halloween is obviously the big one, but you could do nearly any of the holidays. My clan leader Jason came up with most of these ideas. Clan: House Stark TAG: #28UYPUC (shameless plug )
Corny as possible would be awesome...
Little reindeer antlers on dragons with chin straps,
horse costume for pigs & cowboy hat and lasso for hog rider
shrek type ogre costume for giants
crazy clown costume for the wizard since he has a sweet fro goin on.
barbarians could be mummys (like maybe seen on the loading screen)
Archers could be maybe witches or cats or something.
etc
You see where I'm going with this.
army camps could be decorated spooky trees and witches cauldron (or that could be for spell factory)
Decorate the town hall with spooky lights & pumpkins etc etc.
They've already done a few as you all can tell by now. Even the lightning spell has bats swirling around (kudos, supercell). I love the updated bushes and logs they added.
Little details like that are non-game impacting and add to the fun. I love games with small details, keeps me coming back for more. The best part is the 3d models they create are re-usable for next year! So if someone on the design team has a little free time it will have repeatable benefit.

I agree with my clan mate, this would be a fun feature for the holidays. It wouldn't change gameplay at all but it would be a lot of fun watching a bunch of troops running around in silly costumes. House Stark will rise again!!! Join if you love game of thrones, casual adult clan , war once a week. We need more people.
