I believe it is true. As many players aren't able to get on for a period of time, but the collectors still keep on collecting.
Yes, only got on for this past update. you will be able to roll an inactive every 5 or so. Only lasted about 30 minutes for me. Not 2 hours.
Well, it wont matter for a while since updates arent coming for a while. But i still see a golden week, as i have horrible nexting luck, yet in 1 day i got 2mil total loot, got my loons to level five, a wt to lvl5, now going for golems

Lasts about 1 n half hour. For the first hour , u will get collector raids every 5 next. After that slows down. And it gets dry after 2 hours for next 6-8 hrs

I believe it is usually, although I don't think I've ever been online right after an update so I haven't seen the hour or so of amazing loot.
