You will also find a lot of storages from active players who got booted by the maintenance but didn't come back on in time.

The bots on the other hand will be on immediately.

Yes most definitely. The maintenance breaks force everyone off, that includes all the people that refuse to get off (out of fear of being raided). So yes the best time to raid is immediately after a maintenance break.

On a side note, you also see a lot more angry revenges later that same day, because all the people who tried to stay online persistently are more angry for being raided than the people that go offline willingly and expect to be raided.

Yes - def exists, untill all those people who haven't played in a while see an update, log in, do upgrades, raid a bit, before getting bored again .......loot crashes through floor for day or two .... (major upgrades...)

no such thing. extremely poor loot especially immediately after maintenance breaks.

Say there are 1000 villages a minute that get raided and put on shield. A large portion of these are part timers and inactives who do not log in every day and let thier collectors fill. What you get is 1000 villages a minute coming off of shield with juicy collectors. Now you have an extended break lasting 30 minutes where no one can raid these villages and they pile up at the rate of 1000 a minute leaving 30,000 villages that came off shield in matchmaking. Golden hour.

These people are mostly lying here. Just stay away after the breaks, there isn't any good loot. Don't bother trying to get on, it is waaaay over-hyped.
