There are channels on Youtube about Clash of Clans and other games (don't want to target any specific), but they show like how to sign up for Feature points or some other services. Are these scams? Do they help the person's channel earn points with referrals? What are they?

They aren't scams, but yes if you sign up to these services using the youtuber's referral code they are given points as well. In the time it takes you to legitimately earn cards using these services you could just be raiding on clash though and earn the resources yourself by playing the game
