Accountability?

If people start messing with your clan just announce that if it doesn't stop all promoted members will be stripped of rank and have to re-earn their positions. If this doesn't deter the behavior then some people have co that shouldn't and it is time to clean house. Stern, stern but fair.

Its not fair to the others who have been loyal. All im saying is a feature needs to be added to know who responsible when something does happen. That doesnt seem unreasonable to me. Its stupid none of these things can be recorded just for 24 hours or so.

Its not an option to start blindly accusing someone for doing something theyre not supposed to. Demoting all my cos or elders after they were loyal and earned their positions would kill morale. If youre a leader you know what that will do. My clan is doing great how i run things. Weve only lost 2 wars outta 12 and weve been on a winning streak for 6 wars now. I dont wanna jepordise what ive built because someone knows they can get away with stuff with no consequences.

I am a leader, and what I suggested is exactly what I'd do. your real loyal members will understand, anyone who gets upset wasn't really loyal to the clan just taking advantage of a good situation. People who would bolt after being demoted after having been explained to them its only to stop someone who is messing with the clan are not the kind of people I would want in leadership roles to being with. Someone in your clan has a role they don't deserve, and its your fault, now its come to extremes.

Clan by definition is family, i respect them and help them with anything they need. i wish i could sit here and debate about human nature but simply put most of the players in your clan you dont even really know so how can you make a decision who is and isnt trustworthy? Ive had members who get 6 stars in everywar, donate thousands of troops every season, and have been with my clan for months and decide to cause problems. Is it not the leaders position to know if his clan is being tampered with?

So? People who donate and participate in war and are active does not mean they can lead a clan. Look carefully at their behavior.

Holy over reaction batman. I know its hard to convey tone of voice in text but I think you've completely missed my intentions here. You offered an idea for a feature to solve a problem. I gave you an optional solution to that problem that wouldn't involve the devs spending time coding new features and uses current features within the game to achieve what I perceived as your intended end result. Just because I have an opinion doesn't make me over opinionated or a troll, I'm pretty sure sharing ideas and opinions is the point of a forum. Also, just because an opinion differs from yours it doesn't automatically make it mindless nonsense. I get the point of your op, I just don't agree with it or think it's needed. You similarly need to keep an open mind about other's suggestions.

Always a mistake to promote a lot of people in the beginning just to get them to stay.
Now you deal with the consequence, which is demoting them. Since they probably only stayed because of the promo, demoting them pretty much guarantees they leave the clan. You might as well kick them!

Op does have a point, as a leader you get no notification as to when or by which person something in the description has been changed. How many here have members who you trust yet also have children? Have you seen what can happen when a kid gets ahold of someones phone or other such device? Wouldn't take much effort at all from a coding perspective to give a notification that the clan page has been changed and by which co.

Yeah im sorry. It just seemed a little condecending to me. Ive been playing for nearly a year now with my clan. So ive seen alot and learned even the trustworthy ones cause issues eventually.
