Clan points are that number that makes the clan's top in the world like they are around 40k right now. That's what clan points means.

Clan points are:
1/2 of the top 10 people of the clans trophies
a percentage of the other ones too, i dont remember xD

Are you mixing up clan points with war matching weighting? Clan points are not based on troops/defenses at all.

As for the formula used for clan wars match making SC has not given that formula or even partial explanations on it so we do not know if different troops are valued differently or are troops equal for example.
If you read his question carefully, he is asking about cw matchmaking.
OP i dont think anyone here knows how much troops, spells, etc, are scored for each clan.
He specifically said "clan points" not "war matchmaking" or "clan parameters for matchmaking" etc. Even if he meant those, he didn't say them.
