I even built a base to force them to spawn on the edge, but i got none yet. Some of my clan mates already got 2... I am really annoyed by the fact that SC makes it so random.

It didn't spawn on the edge of my base, but I may leave it there anyway...
Got mine, took it out expecting 50000 gems, instead got 75000 elixir after spending 25000 to remove it.
My next one stays for a while
I just got mine today. It spawn half on the edge and half on the playing field.. I got 2 2014 Xmas tree and I cut one of them because it spawned in the middle of my base (I just started playing after Christmas 2013). I'm trying hard not to cut the headstone.
I am waiting patiently for mine. Im keeping the first one I get then removing the others
