Nerf on BARCH (specially after lvl 7 troops) is the main and only reason.
That's not how SC wants us to play. They want us to make strong troops and try to clean bases on farm.
I'm not saying that I like it or that its the best, it's only the true.

I heard rumours that a few people had successfully Barched to %50 in the past couple of days, if you look at Galadon's newest vid and pause it in one precise spot you can see a sixth mortar. Also, the button to buy gems looks a lot bigger, like... It is taking up about a third of the screen and it pulsates.

You should YouTube it. It is completely possible and happens all the time.
Am I the only one that sees it as a way to balance against GoWiPe/GoWiWi as well as barch? Mortars left unchecked are what tears apart wizards and witches more than any other defense. Having an extra mortar is going to be a pain of the defender is smart enough to spread them around the base (If they still throw them all in the core there isn't much of a difference though).
