How does this sound?
What if, you can consent to a 12 hour preparation day instead of 24 hours. So for instance if both, leader/co-leaders can press a button that states that you want the preparation day to be shortened to 12 hours. Then the other clan would have to do the same and if both teams consent then the preparation day timer would be lowered to 12 hours instead of 24 hours. I gave no idea if someone came up with the idea, so forgive me if you came up with it already and posted it on the forums. It just came into my head.
