TH8 new 4th mortar hybrid base, a 5267 original (war version/farming version also)

little upgrade my AD and magic tower and tesla.

atm I am on a trophy push to champs league, so not much time to be designing bases lol, the troops I get attacked by dont really show me weaknesses because they just kill me however or wherever they are placed, the base I hacve has been attacked by gowiwi, balloonion, and hogs, all havent been a 3 star yet, I'll show my traps and things a bit later there is space in the core too for the town hall, clan castle is most centralised of any TH8 I have seen so far, of course, it's an original too

all I could do was browse forum on my phone, but anyways here is the base with traps, my last post on this thread,I'll most probably start my TH9 base thread soon
Ok so I'm not saying this new base is the best base, but keep in mind, it hasn't been 3 starred yet in master 2, also when I switched layouts from this base to try how other bases work up here, I kinda got 3 starred 5 times in a row, and my first defense when I switched back was a 2 star 51% by lv6 loons (a noob) lol so I'd say it's nice to preserve cups (TOWN HALL INSIDE IS THE WORST WAY TO TROPHY PUSH!)

ok, test it )) by the way. in last cw i was attacked 6 times dragons 3* from different sides, but more than 2 stars, no one picked up))

I've had the base now for about a week, and i've never won a defense. I've mostly been around 2000 thropies and my cannons, mortars and wiz towers are maxed. All arch towers are lvl 9, teslas lvl 4 and ADs have been lvl 5 (two are now going to lvl 6) but AD hasnt mattered as there wasn't any air attacks. I've pretty much always had cc troops as well.
It's probably worth mentioning that i've only been two starred once, and the rest only got one star.
I've also used the war base in one war, and the first one who attacked me got 2 stars by barching.

So either im just really unlucky or is there any "better" reasons for why im not winning with this base?

Looks really good. I set it yesterday the farm version you have to protect resources while i move to th9. Almost max th8 and plannin to have storages full.. lets see how it works!!

I have 3 starred max TH8s with barch before (lv6 barch of course) and considering the fact that as a TH8 I have never had trouble 3 starring pretty much any other TH8 fully maxed out or not, you are @2000 cups, TH9 play ground, just yesterday I 3 starred a TH7 with that mantis layout using giants arch and gobs (no spells used) the game is made so that attack can always beat defense, and there are lots of good attackers @2k cups, esp if you want to defend as a TH8, TH8s belong below gold 1 , being at crystal as TH8 and trying to win legitimate defenses is like a TH7 in gold 2 when a TH8 finds him it = game over for the TH7 lol, but if you care most about defense wins rather than anything else you should use a trap base, clan leader of extreme eight snufflebuns made a base that won defenses for TH8s up untill masters league (which is amazing) I honestly think it's the best base ever made purely to win defenses, Snuffles retired now but you can see his base here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82OuLtPLsO8
either Kingzzz or Young Wills base will definitely get you defense wins, Denny Huang (previous clanmate) had the same layout as Young Will and actually won 17 defenses and actually got into master league from defenses!!!, any good luck finding a base if you don't want any of these

Thanks for the base layouts and vid Jason, I am probably mid TH8 on the road to maxing my TH8 defences, just changed my war base to your original layout, so will see how I go this coming war.

Also looking to push to Masters for the gems when im nearly maxed TH8, would you recommend your own push base or, young wills? (im assuming he is the guy talking in the video). How long did it take you to push to masters and what was your main composition? I'm currently Gold 1 sitting around 1800 trophies...

Using this base on gold 2 &1 a few days. The farming version with TH outside. Im almost maxed th8 but have my yeslas upgrading.. attacks have come from left to get my DE.. im very tempting atm...do you think settien DE instead of cc would help.. and swifting DE extractor with Kingm. Or would it damage the AI.. Have you tried before?
