Looking at your base I see that you have great walls. Lvl.8s and 9s are an amazing accomplishment but I think you should start pouring some gold into your defenses. Whilst walls are great for intimidation having better defenses might protect your dark elixir better.

I dump my extra gold/elix on walls. I wished I could pour them into defenses, but of course all the defenses and limited to time. I've only started playing since about 3 months ago, so of course my defenses are going to look premature. Check out my videos, I explain how I tackle this problem.

I have no intentions of going to TH 10 until I've level 30 Heroes and level 10 walls.

By the way, I now have both my DE drills to level 6! 4800 DE per day just from drills . Also dumped 9 mill on walls and 7 mill on Xbow to lv 3 upgrade (14 day upgrade).

That's incredibly impressive that you have walls that high although you've only started playing a few months ago. I don't really get why you can't upgrade defenses. Of course you've devoted two builders to heroes but why can't you devote a few others to maxing out your defenses? It just seems like a good idea to make sure you're not too offensively tipped. You want to balance both aspects of COC.

I do have my other 3 builders upgrading defenses, all the time now that I'm done maxing my DE storage and DE drills. I never keep a builder idle.

Because unlike walls, defenses are timed. For example, Xbow from lv 2 to lv 3 requires you to wait 14 days. And I don't gem time, if I did I probably would have all my defenses maxed in less than a month.

Hmm. Okay. That seems fair. I see that you also love BARCH. I am of the same breed, but also enjoy big, expensive army compositions. You are quite the impressive farmer so I doubt you'll have trouble getting levels up. Looks like Tyrael has some competition.

good luck on your journey, but doesn't it get boring with both heroes upgrading 24/7?

This reminds me of the south park episode where they spend their days maxing a WoW character...and when they reach max, they say "well, what do we do now?"...they answer "we play the game man!"

All I'm saying is if you invested a couple dollars to gem some time of your heroes I think you would enjoy using them on your journey and the fun you would have is 100x. or maybe just have some upgrade overlap.

I'm only 7mnths in w/ Bk11 and AQ12...and nothing is more enjoyable for me than farming or war attacking with both heroes. I also found that the AQ makes reaching DE storages A LOT easier.

To each his own and I hope you get them maxed and after those 227 days get to use them fully!

Agreed ! That's why i stopped upgrading my heroes 2months ago... they are lv15 & lv17 (9month old acct)
