Awesome! 42.5k DE in 1 boost session is very very impressive (especially at Silver). How close are you to TH10 now?

Well, I will definitely push AQ to 30 before my walls finish. I think the trigger will get pulled around 235/240-ish lavas (maybe another week or two).

I was called out in another thread because they thought raiding 42.5K DE in a single session was simply impossible for a barch/wb composition. So I decided to try it again, and albeit it had slightly less yield, it is on par with my first boost given some of the circumstances.

Boost start: 48,280 DE
Boost end: 84,750 DE
Net Gain: +36,470 DE (18,235/hour)
Notes:
- AQ was fully dead twice throughout this boost.
- AQ missed several DE tanks because of AI.
- I used less than 50 CC troops.

Hey Ash or any other de fanatic, could you give me some tips on how to farm de as a th8?
Ive tried g2now for a couple of weeks and it has not gone to good, I use BAM + wb. Should i do the same as a th9 or is there a different method for th8s? Thank you

Hey Ash, gl on your 2nd journey to max heroes, just wondering, have you ever tried high-cup DE gameplay?

Like in master or champs? If you did, which is honestly better? Theres no point now Im done with DE upgrades except with spells for TH9 and im in C3 so I usually cap my storage again with like half the time left in the upgrade, but ya.

I used gibag up there, and basically 2 snipes up there (which honestly are too uncommon) is like 1 of your raids. snipes are OP up there and on top of that you can still get your actual normal raid in. I personally loved it up there, but which is better, if u know?

Thanks everyone for replying to my comment. I've been using BAM now for quite some time and I'm getting better at it. Like Ash said, pracitce makes it perfect. I tried Gibarch as well and it's been working out nice as well. Thanks guys !

Finally got AQ last night farming after farming 20k DE from one 2 hour boost. Boosted 4 barracks, BK and spell factory. Army comp was 12 Wiz, 12 Giants, 12 WB, 36 Barbs and 32 Archers (10 min training with boosted barracks).

AQ is amazing 5 raids today with boosting using same army comp with BK and AQ already farmed 9K DE.

Walls: 11 x Lvl 6, 170 x Lvl 7, 69 x Lvl 8.

Nice. Don't be afraid to pull the trigger. You'll have to wait a long 14 days for TH10. Then you'll have to wait a couple of days for Lab and Factory to update. The first month (or two) as a TH10 is pretty boring. But once you have Lv 7 Barch and Infernos and Freeze maxed out for war, it gets a lot better.

Will be tough to farm DE as a TH8. My best advice is to use BAM or GiBAG (Giants, Barbs, Archers, Wall Breakers, and Goblins) and try to find loaded drills outside or easy to get storages.

Nice, keep it up! If you're boosting all 4 barracks, try a combination of Balloons with BAM. I've tried it before and works very well. Spread Balloons around to clear out defenses with a Rage Spell. Balloons will also activate all air bombs in the way so your Minions will be safe. Then when you've removed a bunch of defenses, send in Barbs and Archers and and create a path towards DE, break walls with Wall Breakers. If you can't get the DE with Barch, then send in Minions last to retrieve it. Train about 12 Balloons, 20 Minions, 6 Wall Breakers, rest Barbs and Archers.
