So tried the 4 mortars out with a pretty common base design. Havent tested it out yet since im waiting to get my mortar to lvl 7 before switching to this lay-out.

The base is fine however the overlapping of the splash damage, to that extent, is not something that is very beneficial. The wizard towers are just bellow the mortars. I would replace them with the AD and then move the teslas to a different area. Maybe behind the wizard towers???
