If he is a TH8 then that loot is impossible, in the pic you can see he is attacking a TH8 or lower

I think it must have been altered, his max gold implies he has 3 storages which implies he is at least th8 which means he could not get over 649,000 in gold.

It is 649,000 just verified against zachs post and my calculator, here is the formula from zach:

This means that the maximum calculated loot, for each resource, that can be stolen from 1 opponent (with maxxed mines/collectors and full storages) is: 198k + (6 x 75k) + 1k= 649k.
