    We have been talking about this same exact topic in our clan for the last month. Collectors we have right now have max level since th7. Another level added for th8, th9, and th10 is long overdue. Also, added collector for th8 and th9 is needed.

    de is the most balance resource right now. I can lose a possible 3k, but if i ride the shield, my collectors will produce 3.6k. Slow progress, only if you dont raid, and if your de bin is taken.

    Now lets see gold, i could possible lose 400k gold, and if i ride the shield, will only produce 252k. Adding gold mine for th8 and th9 will give a total of 9 gold mine and produce 324k, we havent even added new collector levels yet. See where im going with this? We dont neccesarily need 12k per hour, adding 1k per hour on new levels (3 new levels for th8, 9, and 10) will give 6k per hour. Multiply that by 9 gold mine and i am now producing 648k if i ride the shield.

    Now riding shield is not the answer for my upgrades, but at least im not going backwards in progress. People can now feel like the are getting some progress, and if they raid more, then they can achieved their needed upgrades.

    just my 2 cents. Im maxed defense and currently maxing traps now so i already suffered thru everything. I just think this is the right path for clash of clans.

    totally agree with you. I think SC should make a penalty for these ppl. They can only loot smaller amount then those who has max their collector.

    I was a fan of this idea, but now I'm not so sure.

    For me there are 2 issues:

    1) Bringing out more collector levels means everyones collectors goes down periodically over a few months. Loot would be horrendous during this period.

    2) Currently TH7 has 6 max gold mines, same as TH9, you then get an extra 1 at TH10. Buffing the current collectors by a margin to make any sort of difference for TH10 would make TH7 (and probably TH8) far to easy.

    This only really leaves more collectors, so TH9 maybe gets a 7th and TH10 an 8th is a possible solution. I can see some logic to this, but again that probably makes Barch an easier win again, which is something SC tried to stop in the recent update.

    I don't think SC wants to encourage us to go for collector raids. I don't think its part of their vision for the game. Higher league bonuses and better war loot are probably the way to go.

    I'm actually enjoying the new bonuses. I'm in a higher league with loons, hitting tougher bases, rather than BAMing my head against a brick wall.

    I've seen the achievement for maxing collectors suggested. This is a good idea - make the most of what we have already.

    I do agree with you on a few things, although a better resource production from collectors is probbaly a smart move for right now.

    Yes, you would be correct that loot will be dry for a little bit but it always is after an update and with pretty much everyone poring their builders and resources into the collectors means that the loot will come back after a couple of weeks (which I think most people can handle after this past dry spell).

    If you are speaking of something like a TH9+ attacking a TH8- for the loot in the collectors just remember about the loot penalty, so it would make going up a little bit in trophies more convenient because of the extra loot you will get from your same TH level.

    why does th9 need to farm 5-10million a day? you do know that walls are optional.
    it doesn't make sense that everyone should be maxing walls.

    for other upgrades, you can survive with 1-2millions a day for th9.

    Loot has only become worse because over time more people have reached TH9,10,11 which means even more stress on such a fragile economic structure holding on today merely by the temporary fix of a 1 gem boost. However the boost will eventually become ineffective due to the strain on the population of daily spending of gems. The community will eventually stop applying the daily band aid that is the boost and we will have an economic collapse before a solution will be implemented to alleviate the situation long term.

    I whole heartedly agree new levels for collectors should be added, but not necessarily for DE pumps unless it's adding a 4th at TH11 since that seems to be their preferred troop usage in higher leagues.

    In addition to the Collector upgrades, league bonus system and size should be adjusted upwards as well in order to off set opportunity costs of attacking. My suggestion here would be 50% increase in size across the board. And should have 100% award be set at 50% destruction of base when at least a star was earned.
