I just got back from being very inactive due to real life circumstances. While only raiding 2-3 times a day I was able to sustain 5 builders and lab research 24/7.

There is no loot problem. There is no loot problem. There is no loot problem.

Scientific research conduced by Mr.Bresn indicates all features wanted in the Generals section is never in updates. Example league loot is rarely brought up and war loot is a very rare argument.

Aka we won't get this, because 'Makes looting too easy"

You're a bit late on the scene. Let me fill you in. While you were gone from the forums for those 3 weeks, SC posted that they agreed with the people saying that changes needed to be made to create a better balance in the economy, and then they increased the loot in today's update.

Buffing collectors is a bad idea.

Collecting loot that way is boring. Collector raiding blows. But here's the thing to remember: This isn't a real economy. Loot lost and loot gained doesn't have to be equal.

They should just make storage raids worth more. Give the raider %50-75% more loot from storages, without taking more from the village owner. Heck, lower the loot cap, but give double as a bonus. But don't give more from the collectors because collector raids are boring and barching is boring. Make it worthwhile to build real armies. Collector raiding blows.

    personally, i like that idea.

but... i could see people using shenanigans (or even legitimate methods) to stay logged in for hours on end to increase the collectors boost -- not sure that' a good outcome.

as someone else has mentioned, i think league bonuses are where it's at -- you encourage active players to get higher trophies for more loot. that's how the system was designed to work but before now, the bonuses were too small to actually encourage movement upwards. hopefully, the new bonuses will change that.

there's no reason advanced TH10s should be dropping to Crystal league (or even gold league!) for loot. that should be available in Masters, where most of them belong.

Then just like anything else make it where you only level past 11 at Th9, throw a couple levels our way. As a TH10 I can verify loot sucks for us. Is it easy to 1 star yes, but to Barch using 10 Wb's cost over 75k for one attack without spells. Soooo loot bonus isn't exactly enough to get by.

I don't agree with a 4x collection rate, but double would most certainly help. Maybe space out the collection rate of resources from collectors with each level better or have higher levels of collectors. At TH6 & lvl 10 collectors, it's about perfect--I have enough cash flow to not raid, but other people raid me so there's a bit of struggle, but it's not terribly frustrating. At TH7 it's fine with lvl11 collectors. The key to sustaining an economy is ensuring people have wealth throughout their lifespan. That's why after TH7 raids begin to suck. People are freaking broke from all the upgrades--there's not enough to raid because as soon as people get enough, it's spent on an upgrade--there's nothing sitting around, and if there is, people buy shields to protect it.

Since the loot issue is mostly a problem at TH 9 and 10, I'd think increasing collector production by creating level 12 collectors and some increased level of production, maybe 5000-6000 per hour (up from 3000/hr for level 11) would be the way to go. This may also push some higher camps to actually upgrade their collectors. As a TH10 player, I really get sick of seeing some TH9 and TH10 camps with lower level collectors. You should be driven to upgrade those right away before advancing TH level!
