Yay!! The Update is coming now!!

More info about loot increase:
✔ Get at least 20% more Gold, Elixir and Dark Elixir from Clan Wars, win or lose!
✔ Keep more of your war loot even if your Clan doesn’t win the Clan War
✔ Store more war loot in your Clan Castle
✔ Get a bigger League bonus from winning multiplayer battles in all Leagues

Maintenance break just started, with one hour and a half to go
Really excited about this update, especially the little loot league bonuses increase, and in war too.
And the 4th mortar.. Well on thing's for sure, I wasn't excepting it to be available at th8 too, but that's just for the better, can't wait to start upgrading it
And same for the skeleton trap

Well, hard to feedback before playing the update, but since you asked already...

New permanent trap: The Skeleton Trap!
✔ Ambush and distract your enemies with a small group of Skeleton troops! They might be short-lived, but will certainly get some attention.
✔ Skeleton Traps can be set to target either ground troops or air troops. Find the right mix of trap modes for your village!
✔ Skeleton Traps become available at Town Hall 8 and can be upgraded to deploy more skeletons at once.


Fine. Sounds nice. Cant really say more than that at this stage...
Limited-time treats lasting through Halloween weekend
✔ 1-gem Spell Factory boost special is back!
✔ Harvest some bonus Elixir from special Halloween Headstone obstacles


Thanks. Not sure why i'd be gemming my spells...I am not exactly raiding very much so normal speed is fine actually...in fact, I dont waste elixir on spells. Its not as if I'd get it back and then some from the raid I eventually take #fixtheloot

Clan profile and search improvements
✔ Specify your Clan’s war frequency in your Clan profile, anything from always to never
✔ Specify your Clan’s location, or declare it as International
✔ Search other Clans by war frequency, location, member count and minimum clan points, even without specifying a search name
✔ Know what Clan you’re searching for? Search via hashtag to get the exact result you need.
✔ Clan descriptions can now be much longer!

Nice - this will help people I suppose. Leaders, Elders and players alike...
Increased League bonus and more War loot
✔ League bonuses increased on all League levels!
✔ More War loot! Increased rewards from victory, defeat and draw

Ok - loot bonus will help with the loot drought - if it is significant. I mean, you probably need to at least double it below Master league to be fair. The situation is truly dire and an extra 10k on the bonus will not help. People are literally choosing NOT to raid rather than play the game...but you know this. I'm sure your stats confirm...

Need to see what the WAR increase is...but there are a number of other, more fundamental reasons why i do not war. I will come on to them in a bit...

Boost improvements
✔ Boost all buildings of the same type with one button
✔ Barracks, Spell Factory and Hero boosts will now be automatically paused during maintenance and can be resumed later for free
✔ Slightly reduced boost cost for Elixir Pump level 11, Gold Mine level 11 and Dark Elixir Drill levels 5 & 6

• Boost all buildings - doesnt bother me. Would have rather seen dev time go into something else
• Pausing boosts during maintenance. Good. About time on that one, not that it impacts me as a non boosting farmer.
• Reduced boost cost of pumps. Thumbs down. Fix the loot at the point we raid and stop trying to make people pay for resources...

Other Interface Improvements
✔ New Mortar at Town Hall 8
✔ Player profile now shows the highest unlocked level of a player’s troops, heroes and spells!
✔ The Hero icons will now show Hero ability status also in replays
✔ Army camp contents are now visible to visitors in the Army Camp info screen
✔ Time to remove obstacles is now lower
✔ Increased War loot storage capacity on all Clan Castle levels

New mortar. I think that on balance it will be bad for people using barch or armies like that...

Hero icon - so?
Army camp visible to visitors - yay! Oh hang on, i dont care
Time to remove obstacles? Who cares? How about reduce the cost of next?!
Increased war loot storage - ok whatever.

Things you are missing...

• Builder lag bug
• Lack of fresh content - same old game for waaay too long - too many people maxing their base and raiding for just walls and heroes. Fresh content is not simply something else to upgrade!!! Its alterations to gameplay...grow the game...dont just recycle the same old stuff. Except for war, what has changed in 2 years?? Your players are getting bored
• Opt out in war so your clan does not need to pure war or pure "non war"....some of us like different things, let us remain in the clan regardless of war preference.
• War is still quite boring. Can we have clan perks that build the more wars you win? How about territories so we can build an empire - bigger empire, bigger status and reward...I'm sure given the gameplay of boom beach you can make that work - its not too dissimilar
• I'd say loot is still a major issue even after you league bonus alteration but i will wait to see what you have planned

Oh, have to go but I still had a few more...I might edit but if not, my grade for you is:

C+

SC has the potential to do much better but is messing around too much and takes too long to grasp new concepts. Another term like this and their future is in question
