Base is a nearly maxed TH10 with top trophies in excess of 3700. I know there are lots of premature bases in the game, and I have no problem with people criticising a TH10 base with TH7 defenses, but the criticisim should be about the base design, not whether someone spent money or not. I don't even think it's a problem to criticize that real money was spent in a dumb way, I just don't think it benefits Supercell to have a culture where spending money on their game is viewed as a negative by a large portion of their community.

I think making the statistics just shows how good You are at the game, if you haven't stole much loot, it shows that you're bad at attacking, and obviously don't know how to play the game that way, or that You at least don't have the patience for playing the game. That's just my opinion....
But people will always be jalous at someone like you, the same way that people with no money always will be jalous at people who has money

Actually - I think you have it right. People who can't / won't spend on the game should appreciate those who do, but many do not see the connection. All they see is the in game base and yes I think jealousy sets in...but whatever the feelings or motivations that drive the behaviors the end result is this: people will spend less on Clash of Clans if there is a culture within the game to give more respect to those who do not spend.
Now that i think about it, it could be great if your profile could have those three options:
Private (No one, but you can see your statistics)
Puplic (everyone can see your profile)
And the last option would be that it would be open for friends and clan members

Good point. I WISH people would only use the statistics the way you reference - that would be an okay thing. Unfortunately many do not use the statistics that way...rather they use them as a way to identify people that use gems and then they discount those "gemmers" as "bad players" or "less quality players" or even as "unfair players."
I don't blame the in game community for feeling that way...but I do KNOW it does not benefit Supercell and their pocketbooks to allow a culture like that to exist.

I LOVE THIS IDEA! Kind of allows for a balance such that the positives of keeping the statistics are maintained, but the negatives could be dealt with too. Course it could lead to everyone assuming if you don't show the stats then you must be a "gemmer." But this sort of option is the sort of thing I would encourage Supercell to explore.
The title says it man. Who cares if they call you a gemmed. I love having gemmer in my clan! They gem cc troops during war, have great bases that usually under lvled, so it makes war more winnable. Ive soent around $100 on CoC to add to the fun I have and to make up for the time I cant play because im an adult with a career. Ty for helping adults do as well as kids without lives who sit around and game all day! Now I can be a gamer without wasting my whole life on it.
Okay i must admit that i have mabye always been a bit jalous on gemmers, but now that i've read this thread plus comments, it kind of maked me realize that this is just a way of spending money on different things, of course some earn more money than others, but that's just the way the world works. It's like, I have these money, do i want to buy me this new smart phone, or do I need a brand new car, do i want to buy a new bigger house, or do i want to spend money on coc, which i fully get why someone would do that, it is a great game...
The social aspects of the game are real. People who think the online community is some fake virtual world don't realize nor understand the psychology that drives the clash of clans popularity. Clash is popular because real people are interfacing with other real people with real emotions. All I am saying is a culture that frowns on those who spend $$ in the game will result in less $$ being spent on the game.
