Supercell Needs to Stop the Discrimination Against Their BEST Customers

In the gaming community I am considered a "whale." I have spent thousands of real life dollars on Clash of Clans. And I am tired of the discrimination that occurs because I choose to spend money on Clash. The term that is frequently used is "GEMMERS" and it is more often used in a derogatory manner. The fix is simple:

Supercell should either stop displaying the Gold Grab like stats OR allow resources that are purchased to count towards those statistics in the game. In game respect is a reality and a part of the game. I can promise Supercell that I have deeper pockets and would spend more if the spending didn't come with frowns from within the coc community.

I an sorry to say this, but the common person can't afford to gem. This creates a rift between the two sides, the "gemmers" and the non-"gemmers". The NG's hate that "gemmers" have an advantage, and this causes jealousy. I see both sides of this argument. It is bound to happen. I am sorry, but there is. othing I can do for you. Remember, people will say what they want. If SuperCell stopped letting people call "gemmers" "gemmers", then the community would greatly decrease. I am sorry, but there is really nothing they can do.

There are some hardcore players that are able to advance in the game without the need to gem, and if they call you a "gemmer" in a derogatory manner, remember that they have spent countless hundreds/thousands of hours alone, in front of their device. The majority of players that spend this much time on the game embrace their love for it and thank you for keeping it free for them. Those that hate you for gemming don't like it being free for them I suppose.

The noobs who cry that you are a gemmer are simply jealous they don't have the money to do it, and I don't see why this would affect your ego in the slightest.

Purchased resources counting for stats would be a valid solution.

Although to be honest, the people who complain about gemmers are idiots. People who spend money keep the game free for the rest of us. Thank you for that.

Not to be rude in any way, but you have spent thousand of dollars on clash? If you dont mind, what does your base look like? If you dont want to show it, i completely understand

Where is your idea?

My suggestion is to either remove the stats that track gold grab and the like or to allow purchases of resources to count towards that statistic. It just makes it so people can't tell if someone has purchased elements of their base or farmed them exclusively.

There is something that can be done: stop showing statistics in profiles that differentiate those that spend $$ versus those that don't. Big money games like League of Legends DO NOT allow for a differentiation between those that are spending money and those that are not to occur.

I appreciate your perspective. It's probably how everyone should view things. As for ego...yes, I have to admit some of it probably is an ego thing, but when there is a lot of the game that is social - well, ego issues matter and the reality is they will affect Supercell's bottom line.
