    Base Layout Sharing.

The idea is simple, from the village view of a clan mate, you can go into village edit mode. You would then have all their buildings to make a layout from. when you are finished you post the layout like you would a replay. it would have a title like "Base layout for ClanMate1 from ClanMate2". then when that player views the layout, if they like it, they have the option to have their base automatically edited to resemble the layout. (this would work for war bases as well)

I present this idea, because it has occurred many times in my clan that I (or someone else) want to help a clan mate with a better design. Explaining over chat is tedious and not always good at making the point, and trying to link to something on the web is a hassle. Alternatively you could reorganize your own base to use only what they have, but that gets difficult because you have to write down how many of each building and what level of each, and then your clan mate still wont have a perfect picture.

i actually like this suggestion. someone "sharing" their base layout in the clan chat. But, there are a few caveats...

    * what if you have different TH levels?
    * what if you have the same TH level but different structures constructed?
    * what if you have uncleared obstacles?

the 3 items above will require some amount of programming into the game, which im sure SC will be able to figure out

In the OP it states from viewing their village you can enter village edit mode to presumably rearrange their buildings. Then you can post the result. I am assuming that nothing actually changes in their base.

yes, you would have all of THEIR buildings in the edit mode toolbar. then instead of "save layout" it would be "post layout". you don't edit their base at all. they can choose to accept your layout from the chat post, or not. if they accept their base will be automatically re-organized.
