There will be a fourth mortar yes, it was a sort of last minute addition but it will be in the full release notes.
Valkyrie buffs? Nope. That's just him being overexcited and giving his opinion about what might be a good strategy/unit to tackle the trap. The skeletons will surround the unit they target, the valk will her spin-the-axe attack will kill them easily, I can only assume that's it

This is an interesting addition. Yeah, could be balance new level 7 barch but my gut tells me this is help combat Gowiwi.

Add the distracting nature of the skeleton trap and you're looking at new defences to tackle the power of Gowiwi.
