    I'd like to point out that freeze is a TH10 spell too yet it's shorter on duration on every level. Lightning also does only 450 at max level

    Unfortunately, there is no Town Hall 11, and it would seem ridiculous to add another town hall just for this spell. As for the duration of the freeze spell, it lasts 4 seconds on the first level and goes to 8 seconds on the 5th and final level. Plus, this is supposed to be an upgrade of the Lightning Spell. Plus, it does a known area of damage, instead of a random area within a few tiles. The range of the spell is 4 tiles.
    I do appreciate the feedback though, and I will take it into consideration. I just thought this would be a cool idea.

    Buttermink, i hope you realized that when he said that about the golem, he was implying that a golem with a ranged splash attack would be a stupid and horrible thing to add to the game, and it would replace both golems and wizards.

    i ilke this idea, but duration should stay at 6 second for every level, and damage should be nerfed a lot

    i would also like to point out that the maximum possible number of elixir is 8,000,000. however, almost all of your upgrades go beyond that.

    Changes

    I nerfed both the damage and the duration. I also made it so that in order to get the final upgrade, you need the maximum amount of dark elixir in the game. This should improve it a bit.

    The thing is that for CoC, all troops have some use at all level, even if it is small. This however makes lightning spells completely unneeded since the plasma is better in every way that matters (or at least at the time of the initial post), especially for clan wars where cost and creation time is not a factor. The single burst of damage also makes it easy to kill wizards and other cc troops that usually won't die in 1-2 bolts of 6 bolts from a lightning spell

    the spell should be made available at th9 and not th10
