    I've got some questions... (TH9s)

    1. Are anti-hog bases the same as anti-giant?

    2. How do I use giant farming strategies? I'm a th9 now. At th8 i could just barch, but thanks to the loot penalty it's not so hot anymore. Trophy range is currently 1500-1700. I'm going to try crystal later.

    3. I need a giant proof base! I'm sick of being crushed by giants. I'm using the Ringus base without x-bows so i'm trying not to judge it to harshly but man these giants... Does Ringus do well against giants? If not some base suggestions would be nice.

Anti-giant bases usually use walls to funnel troops, which don't affect hog riders; anti-hog bases make defenses in an outside "ring" closer than the core defenses so the hogs go in a circle and hit giant bombs.

Giant farming strategies usually include heal spells, where the giants tank and other units take out structures throughout the base.

I don't have any suggestions, but you can use walls to funnel giants in a circle and spring traps to kill them.

Do you know if ringus is effective on giants at all. Also do you think you could give me an army comp for giant farming. Sorry to bombard you with questions, but if i use heal spells with a giant farming army wont it take to long to train? Sorry, i'm just used to faster training armies. Is th9 only lucrative with longer training armies or something. I use balloonion often but i'm saving DE for my queen. Again sorry for the bombardment.

TH 8. Just got hit by 18 level 6 giants using one heal spell and one healer ( 100 archers and 7 hogs along with BK). They attacked by dropping all the giants in two groups, same spot separated by a few seconds. Took 140k of 220k elixir and 3k gold one star 55%.

Separate your storages and triangulate weapons where weapons overlap. Tesla 6 and wiz towers pounding them as archers and mortars added to the kill zones. What helped were skull walls holding them for that extra 1-2 seconds. Traps by my Teslas and giant bombs by wiz towers and path leading to storages ( poof went the hogs).

Trick to beating level 6 giants is hoping they're dropped in masses for traps and mortar damage and building natural corridors ( not funnels. Funnels are easy to attack as the bomb/trap is almost always at the opening. I bust through funnels using wbs halfway down the funnel wall). Build the base defense where the weapons are leading along a corridor of kill zones. They'll follow while being raked by weapons.

Smart attackers will waste the base in any event...but most 9s have no clue how to attack.

    I have no idea.

I use 15 giants, 3 balloons (in case of clan castle), 5 wizards and 4 wall breakers which I save for special cases, and the rest barbarians/archers. If you want it to train faster add valkyries, although it's not very DE-efficient. I usually constantly train heal spells in case I find a high loot storage raid.

You can still BArch, but you'd better be okay with nexting a lot and taking 75-100K net gain raids. Also, an elixir-only balloonion alternative is dragoon, but it's very slow-train so not recommended.

Level 5 wizards in the clan castle are hands down the best giant killers. That and skull walls with lots of segmenting and good spring traps

I have all skulls and i'll make sure to keep wizes in the cc, but any base suggestions based off of what you said about segmenting and spring traps?

I can't post a picture from my phone but check my base

    Clan 29 Roller
    241m

Ignore my extra walls on the left side around the new storage and dark drill. Spring traps are in those first compartments around the sides. Everything is split up well so WB will get them in the first compartment but then they have to hammer away to get anywhere else. All storages separated
