Need Help for Good Group of Farming Troops to Gain Resources, TH8, 180 Troops

Hey all,

I just joined the forum, and I am looking for some help. Specifically with which troops I should use for my loot raids. I have been having a lot of trouble earning resources as of late, and I see that it is a big problem for many people out there. It is almost to the point where it is not worth it for me to attack, because it costs more elixir to make my troops than what I will earn from winning my attack. Part of that is because I have to hit next a countless number of times before I even get to a base that has 200k + resources, and is a base that I know that I have a chance of winning against. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it. Hope to hear from you all soon! Thank you!

First of all, upgrade all your camps to max as it will helps in long run. As of composition, try barching it works for me and also don't be so picky on your target. Look for small resources like 100k+ will also help if you are raiding in long session.

+2, I always try not to be picky. I would take even 90k+ as long as it's easy to grab and use less troops. And I use barch too.

+3 Always upgrade those camps. It may be tedious, but it's worth it, especially at TH8.

I would do ur camps but the cheapest way to farm is Barch so uograde those troops first

Barching is the way to go. It is cheap, cheap, cheap and it works. Do not make ANYTHING else, no giants, no wallbreakers, maybe some goblins, but I do not have good luck with them. It is all about the cost. I do not like nexting all day long, and do not care about trophys. If I can find unprotected, high level collectors, i will poach them. What does an archer cost you, 160, it is very easy to make 10x - 20x what you spend in archers by only hitting a few exposed collectors.

Thank you for all of the insight everybody! I have my camps maxed out at level 6 for my town hall, and I have been barching with a raid composition of 105 archers, 95 barbs. It has been working well. I have been holding off on using spells, so that I can get the most profit!
