I only zap DE if a high TH 8 or TH 9 raid me for all my loot. If they think that bullying low TH 7s for most of their loot in a league that is too low for most people with TH 8s and TH 9s (Silver I, Gold III), then I don't feel guilty letting them save up DE so I can zap >900 DE from them.
I've never really zapped for de, raged barch can get so much more.
But to those people threatening revenge - I don't care. I can only be attacked twice a day and I attack a lot more bases than that, so you have to get in line to revenge me (it's a long line). I don't care if you get 1 or 2 stars (only twice 3 starred in last 2 months) as long as you give me a shield to stop the other guys in the line attacking me.

If I do this I will only do it if I'm going to receive 1,000 or more DE. Anything less is pointless. I also stay on until I use up whatever I needed that DE for so if people do revenge. It's not for the DE I stole cause I tend to leave my storage dry before I get off.
Lol, if someone doing this to me, i always revenge and steal more than i lost.
