Im now at the point where i only have 1 active hero at any given time.

I'm all for making heroes usable. My suggestion was to make the Hero upgrades in the Laboratory so they are available for raids as well. I searched the ruled out thread and this idea is not even in consideration. This needs to be added to the sticky on ruled out threads on whether or not it's going to happen.

The other option is just allow the Heroes to wake up out of their upgrades during a War attack. That would be the simplest solution.

I am currently so fed up with Supercell. This update is LONG overdue, . . .

Supercell has responded to this topic. Twice actually. Once in a different thread and once in this thread too (and linked back to the original comment). Long story short, this is not a simple fix. They did not give specifics but the code change will be substantial which makes this a long term goal. They are fully aware of the community's opinion but there will be no instant gratification on this. Just be happy they are listening.

Nice to have micro-levelling, to avoid having to save lootable mega quantities of dark elixir, but every normal troop is usable while upgrading.
