I would love this. I hate it when I or my clan mates are forced to opt out of war because we can't pull our weight while our heroes are upgrading.

I really don't understand why supercell isn't implementing this! it is obvious need. Just like buildings are working on war even when they are upgrading. But I guess the obvious reason is that they want you to gem your heros. But nah, I just war without them like a boss.
They introduced hero upgrade books trying to solve this, but the books are rare and also need gems.
